SOHO SURE CALL 55dB Wireless Dual Band Cellular Amplifier Kit
Provides up to 1500 sq ft of coverage (in ideal conditions). Typically the 55 SOHO can boost areas in the 500-800 sq ft range. Ideal for construction site trailers.
The SOHO 55/60dB Desktop Kit uses a 3-watt Cellphone-Mate dual-band (800/1900) wireless cell phone booster. The system is designed to improve cell signal quality for a workspace or small home up to 1500 sq ft. Works with all GSM, CDMA, TDMA carriers that use 800/1900MHz (not Mike, Nextel/iDEN). This is a complete system that comes with dual-band 55/60dB wireless amplifier, omni-directional exterior antenna, right angle interior broadcast antenna, white 240 coax and wall plug power supply. The coverage area (broadcast distance) of this system is dependent upon the signal strength outside the building where the outside antenna is mounted, the frequency your carrier uses and interior barriers such as stone, concrete and steel. Note: 800MHz carries about twice as far as 1900Mhz. Desktop Kit components Exterior Antenna The exterior antenna for this system is a 22" fiberglass 5dB gain omni-directional antenna. This antenna collects signals from all towers, all directions, and all carriers. It is an excellent general purpose roof-mount antenna. It comes with 2 U-bolts that can be used to attach the antenna to a pole (2" max diameter). NOTE: The exterior antenna and the interior right-angle antenna need to be separated about 35'-40' to avoid oscillation. Inside distance can be increased with the addition of a separate inside antenna to replace the inlcuded right angle rubber ducky antenna. This distance can be less if there are concrete walls, a metal roof or other barriers. Contact Talktyme if you have any questions. 5dB gain omni-directional antenna Exterior Antenna White 240 Coax Two different lengths of white 240 coax are provided with the system. The first length is 40' with a N-Male connector to connect to the exterior antenna. The second length is 20' extension coax if additonal length is needed. Only use what you need. Every foot is signal loss. Note: It is important not to coil excess coax. This will cause noise issues. Do not coil coax cable when installing or it may cut off signal.
